Summary of the Undertaking given by Dr. Matias Ariel Wengiel to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, effective May 23, 2018:

A College investigation was conducted into whether Dr. Wengiel engaged in professional misconduct including but not limited to his alleged communications with an individual who he believed was under sixteen years old for a sexual purpose, and in his alleged attempts to conceal those communications. Prior to the conclusion of this investigation, Dr. Wengiel resigned from the College and has agreed never to apply or reapply for registration as a physician in Ontario or any other jurisdiction.
