On June 20, 2024, the Tribunal found that Dr. Hadwen engaged in disgraceful, dishonourable or unprofessional conduct and failed to respond appropriately or within a reasonable time period to a written inquiry from the College by failing to co-operate with the College’s investigation.

Further, the Tribunal found that Dr. Hadwen engaged in disgraceful, dishonorable or unprofessional conduct and contravened a term, condition or limitation on his certificate of registration by practising medicine outside of his postgraduate medical education program.

The Tribunal ordered that:  
  1. Dr. Hadwen attend before the panel to be reprimanded; 
  2. the Registrar suspend Dr. Hadwen’s certificate of registration for eight (8) months commencing June 21, 2024; 
  3. the Registrar place terms, conditions and limitations on Dr. Hadwen’s certificate of registration; 
  4. Dr. Hadwen pay the College costs in the amount of $6,000 by July 30, 2024.
