On December 1, 2025, the Tribunal found that Dr. Istead engaged in disgraceful, dishonourable or unprofessional conduct and failed to respond appropriately or within a reasonable time to a written inquiry from the College by:
  • failing to cooperate with a College assessment, including by failing to respond to College inquiries about the assessment in a timely manner or at all; and
  • failing to cooperate with the College’s investigation into her failure to cooperate with the College assessment.
The Tribunal ordered that: 
  1. Dr. Istead attend before the panel to be reprimanded; 
  2. the Registrar suspend Dr. Istead’s certificate of registration for (2) months commencing December 2, 2025; 
  3. the Registrar place terms, conditions and limitations on Dr. Istead’s certificate of registration; and
  4. Dr. Istead pay the College costs in the amount of $6,000 by December 31, 2025
