On April 14, 2026, the Ontario Physicians and Surgeons Discipline Tribunal found that Dr. Corless committed the following acts of professional misconduct:

• sexually abusing a patient;

• engaging in an act or omission relevant to the practice of medicine that, having regard to all the circumstances, would reasonably be regarded by registrants as disgraceful, dishonourable or unprofessional; and

• failing to respond appropriately or within a reasonable time to a written inquiry from the College.

On the same date, the Tribunal ordered that:  

1. the registrant attend before the panel to be reprimanded; 

2. the Registrar revoke the registrant’s certificate of registration effective April 15, 2026 at 12:01 a.m.;

3. the registrant reimburse the College $17,940 for funding provided for therapy and counselling under s. 85.7 of the Health Professions Procedural Code, and to post security acceptable to the College to guarantee the payment of this amount, by May 15, 2026;  

4. the registrant pay the College costs in the amount of $6,000 by May 15, 2026.
