On December 6, 2021, the Ontario Physicians and Surgeons Discipline Tribunal found that Dr. Pardis committed the following acts of professional misconduct:
failing to maintain the standard of practice of the profession;
engaging in an act or omission relevant to the practice of medicine that, having regard to all the circumstances, would reasonably be regarded by registrants as disgraceful, dishonourable or unprofessional; and
having a conflict of interest.
The Tribunal also found that the registrant is incompetent.
On February 17, 2022, the Tribunal ordered that:
the registrant attend before the panel to be reprimanded;
the Registrar revoke the registrant’s certificate of registration effective February 18, 2022 at 12:01 a.m.; and
the registrant pay the College costs in the amount of $10,370 within 30 days of the date of the reasons.

On March 8, 2017, the Discipline Committee found that Dr. Pardis committed the following act of professional misconduct:
failing to maintain the standard of practice of the profession.
On the same date, the Discipline Committee ordered that:
the registrant attend before the panel to be reprimanded;
the Registrar place terms, conditions and limitations on the registrant’s certificate of registration; and
the registrant pay the College costs in the amount of $5,500 within 30 days of the date of the order.

Allegations of professional misconduct regarding Dr. Pardis were referred to the Discipline Committee of the College. As a result, Dr. Pardis must not practise family medicine.
Dr. Pardis must notify each patient in his practice in writing that:
1. He cannot act as their family physician or provide any family medicine services to them;
2. He advises them to have a family physician and asks them to provide him with their family physician’s contact information; and
3. It is desirable that he be able to communicate with their family physician for the purpose of providing health care and ensuring that the family physician, who is in their circle of care, is aware of his treatment and receives relevant information.
Dr. Pardis must communicate to each patient’s family physician any information that is reasonably necessary for providing care, including relevant test results, subject to any limit placed by the patient on his doing so.
