The following are non-Ontario disciplinary findings made against this member, as known to the College, together with the corresponding information:

On July 31, 2019, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia determined that there is sufficient evidence that, if proven, would constitute professional misconduct on the part of Dr. McGibney which warranted imposing a licensing sanction. With Dr. McGibney’s consent, the College ordered that Dr. McGibney be reprimanded for departing from accepted standards of care with respect to a patient. The College was notified of this matter by Dr. McGibney.
