On May 27, 2026, the Ontario Physicians and Surgeons Discipline Tribunal found that Dr. Sulowski committed the following acts of professional misconduct:

• sexually abusing a patient; and

• engaging in an act or omission relevant to the practice of medicine that, having regard to all the circumstances, would reasonably be regarded by registrants as disgraceful, dishonourable or unprofessional. 

On the same date, the Tribunal ordered that:  

1. the registrant attend before the panel to be reprimanded; 

2. the Registrar revoke the registrant’s certificate of registration effective May 28, 2026 at 12:01 a.m.;

3. the registrant reimburse the College $20,470 for funding provided for therapy and counselling under s. 85.7 of the Health Professions Procedural Code, and to post security acceptable to the College to guarantee the payment of this amount, by June 26, 2026; and

4. the registrant pay the College costs in the amount of $6,000 by June 26, 2026.

The panel is preparing its reasons, which will be released in the coming weeks.
