Past Tribunal Proceedings (1)
On February 24, 2026, the Tribunal found that Dr. Azher committed an act of professional misconduct in that he:
engaged in an act or omission relevant to the practice of medicine that, having regard to all the circumstances, would reasonably be regarded by members as disgraceful, dishonourable or unprofessional; and
was found by the governing body of a health profession in a jurisdiction other than Ontario, to have committed an act of professional misconduct that would, in the opinion of the panel, be an act of professional misconduct under section 51 of the Code or an act of professional misconduct as defined in the regulations.
The Tribunal ordered that:
the registrant attend before the panel to be reprimanded;
the Registrar suspend Dr. Azher’s certificate of registration for two (2) months commencing February 25, 2026 at 12:01 a.m.; and
the registrant pay the College costs in the amount of $6,000 by March 24, 2026.
