On December 10, 2024, the Ontario Physicians and Surgeons Discipline Tribunal decided that Dr. Fagbemigun should not be reinstated.

On March 21, 2022, the Ontario Physicians and Surgeons Discipline Tribunal found that Dr. Fagbemigun committed the following acts of professional misconduct:

• failing to maintain the standard of practice of the profession; and
• engaging in an act or omission relevant to the practice of medicine that, having regard to all the circumstances, would reasonably be regarded by registrants as disgraceful, dishonourable or unprofessional.

On June 9, 2022, the Tribunal ordered that:

1. the registrant attend before the panel to be reprimanded;
2. the Registrar revoke the registrant’s certificate of registration effective immediately;
3. the registrant to pay a fine of $35,000 to the Minister of Finance by July 11, 2022; and
4. the registrant pay the College costs in the amount of $72,590 by September 9, 2022.
